Uruguay
The expansion beyond Argentina began in Uruguay in the mid-2000s.
The first stage visible in the portfolio is concentrated in Punta del Este, where Gala keeps its Uruguayan office. It later added projects in Punta Carretas, Parque Batlle, La Blanqueada and Tres Cruces.
These buildings do not all follow the same product. Gala Tower, Gala Puerto and Gala Vista belong to the Punta del Este residential line; in Montevideo, conventional residential projects coexist with buildings under the Promoted Housing program, such as Gala Parque, Gala Pop and Gala Rock.
Roles are clearly separated at Gala Pop: Gala Group is the developer, Fundar y Asesores the designer, Sabyl the builder and Magnone Pollio the engineering firm.
Gala Pop consists of two residential blocks around a central courtyard and is currently published as completed.
