Developer

MET Desarrollos

The history of MET Desarrollos begins in Argentina in 1985, when engineer Alfredo Salgado founded construction company SADEC. After working in Argentina and Spain, the family brought that experience to Uruguay and created MET to develop residential projects of its own.

MET 1 was its first building in Montevideo and opened in 2014. Since then, the local portfolio has grown through promoted-housing projects under the MET brand and residential developments under the SKY line.

INGAR currently tracks 3 projects by this developer. The 3 developments total 269 apartments.

MET 1 opened the local portfolio in 2014. Buildings on Boulevard Artigas, 8 de Octubre, Garibaldi, Tres Cruces, Punta Carretas, Cordón and Centro followed.

The company organizes its current offering into two lines. MET encompasses urban projects, several under the Promoted Housing program; SKY is used for residential developments in a different format, first in Punta Carretas and now beside the Carrasco Polo Club.

The official portfolio includes delivered projects and developments under construction. Both the MET and SKY lines appear among the projects tracked by INGAR.
